What is Invisalign?
The genius of Invisalign is that it actually shifts the teeth the same way as traditional braces, but it doesn’t use bulky metal brackets and wires to do it. Instead, a patient wears a progressive series of clear plastic aligner trays that fit over the teeth similar to an athletic mouthguard. Thin, lightweight, and completely see-through, they practically disappear when worn, allowing a patient to maintain their regular appearance throughout treatment.
Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign is easily removable as well. Instead of having to alter your diet and spend more time cleaning your teeth, you can simply take your trays out whenever you want to eat or brush.
